Thank you to everyone who joined us for the launch night of #SE19Lates 2021 and all the traders for getting venues so beautifully decorated.
If you couldn't make it, or didn't get chance to make it all the way round the Triangle to visit every business here's a little preview...
Make sure you come along on Thursday 9th or 16th December, or in fact anytime in December, daytime or after dark to see the lights and enjoy our wonderful shops and hospitality venues in Crystal Palace.
Here we are surveying the scene on Thursday afternoon before the sun started to set on Crystal Palace. Lights were up all around the Triangle in shop and cafe windows.
The Haynes Lane dinosaur had been transported to his new perch (and festooned with cherry lights) to make way for the 2021 Haynes Lane Christmas tree, very kindly donated by The Secret Garden.
Then, when night fell...
The lights started to twinkle magically all around the Triangle.
If you weren't able to make it, there are two more late night shopping nights all around the Triangle, and roads off to the side on Thursday 9th and 16th December.
Come and join in! It starts getting dark between 16:00 and 16:30, so join us any time after that and most businesses will stay open until 8pm on SE19Lates nights, some later.
Our #SE19Lates venues
On #SE19Lates Thursdays, try to visit all the different venues, in any order you choose.
Make sure you visit our Church Road trio of Urban Cellar, Skintouch for beauty treatments (until 7pm) and Elkins for gifts.
[Elkins will be back on the #SE19Lates trail on16th December, open as usual during week/weekend and you can browse online at their Trouva store. and on Instagram].
Round the corner to Westow Street, you'll find:
The Secret Garden (open until 7pm), Simon Carter menswear, The Bookseller Crow, Kamari The Authentic Greek - Greek delicatessen, Merlin Shoes, Haven Wellness, The Indigo Tree for gifts & Real Nappy Life with their in-house cafe: Freshwater's, where you can stop for mince pies and mulled wine.
If you venture down Haynes Lane, between Merlin Shoes and Savers, you'll find a little lit-up wonderland, with a pretty Christmas tree and a ferociously festive red glowing dinosaur!
Each Thursday evening brings a new selection of pop-up of hand-picked eco traders, with stalls decked with fairy lights, to explore, as well as The Walkthrough, permanent vintage and collectables traders: Maltpress Trading, Alan's Antiques, The Boutique and more Haynes Lane Vintage market traders in the market hall.
On #SE19Lates finale night: 16th December, we're expecting live music from Katie Rose and The Welcome Choir who will be visiting the yard and also touring the Triangle with song. Keep up that festive stamina and look out for the grand opening of Free The Gallery's Festive bonanza upstairs with DJs and bar.
On Westow Hill, your must-see stops are: A L'Etage 2, Decorum, and Theatro for a 2-4-1 cocktail, or 20% off your food and drink bill on #SE19Lates nights, after 8pm. Then just a few steps down Jasper Road, between Decorum and Theatro you will find the airy 4-floor Crystal Palace Antiques & Modern centre, which will be open for sales and browsing until 8pm.
